What began as a small mining camp during the Colorado Silver Boom of the late nineteenth century has since become the preferred getaway of the world’s elite. This chic book features works by the consummately stylish artist Herbert Bayer.
Since being introduced in 1968, more than 5 billion Hot Wheels cars have been produced, making it the number-one toy in the world, with 10 cars sold every second. Filled with energetic imagery, including a work by Andy Warhol, Hot Wheels vibrantly conveys the rich panoply of dynamic designs and thrilling experiences of this quintessential American toy.
With 11 restaurants around the world, Michael Chow has spread Chinese haute cuisine throughout the West, and created a gathering place for stars to mingle, eat, and party. Renderings of the Chow family by the likes of Andy Warhol, Julian Schnabel, and Jean-Michel Basquiat convey Chow's status in the artistic community.
As the old slogan went, “America runs on Bulova time,” and subsequently so does the world. Bulova: A History of Firsts chronicles the extraordinary American watch company by recounting a multi-generational epic that runs from the Gilded Age up through present-day New York City. The title features eight visually captivating chapters that include works by Andy Warhol.

Behind the luxury, service, and décor lies the vision of one man, César Ritz, who revolutionized the hotel business to become both an art and an industry titan. Of all the great Parisian couture houses, Dior is perhaps the most famous and prestigious in the world, embodying Christian Dior’s sublime vision of femininity, which Saint Laurent elaborated and evolved into the beginning of the tumultuous decade of the 1960s. The jewel of a book features works by Henry Clarke.
Day 10: Finishing touches.
This award-season favorite got a little set-design help with featured replicas of works by Emory Douglas and Isamu Noguchi.
Spinning a tangled web on Amazon Prime, this binge worthy show features works Manolo Valdes, and Richard Texier and a mural come to life by iconic Mexican artist and activist Diego Rivera.
Say it ‘aint so! In 2018 living legend Paul Simon embarked on 'Homeward Bound, The Farewell Tour.’ While his best accessory on stage might be his guitar (and mic), we also love the show’s backdrop display which features a photograph of René Magritte and his wife. Here’s to you, Mr. Simon.
The heist is on! Though the ladies in the latest Ocean’s flick franchise are after some serious bling we were blinded by the amazing set-design that featured replicas of works by George Condo, Helen Frankenthaler, Jackson Pollock, Joel Shapiro, and Al Held.
On their album, ‘In Real Time,’ the dreamy sound of psychedelic indie rock band The Undercover Dream Lovers is visually complimented with an album cover that features “Sinéma, les anges sont avec toi," by French artist Martial Raysee. Play and display this limited edition vinyl today.
The remarkable true story of cosmetics titans Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden come alive in this funny and surprisingly touching play. Showcasing the dueling beauty mogul’s extensive art collections, the show features reproductions of works by Salvador Dalí, Raoul Dufy, Marie Laurencin, William Dobell, and Pablo Picasso.
“There is only one thing I fear in life, my friend… One day the black will swallow the red.” So said the artist Mark Rothko. But 50 years after his death the red hot spotlight still shines bright on him and his genius. Case in point, ‘Red,’ the Tony Award winning play about art and commerce.
The life of British-born Mexican artist Leonora Carrington and her encounter with the Chilean Jewish filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky are explored in Leonora & Alejandro: La Maga y el Maestro. The surrealist play is steeped in magic and examines the alchemical melding between great seers and their spiritual tug of war.
In this psychologically impactful film, teacher and her pet take a fieldtrip to the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and marvel at the legendary “Christina’s World,” by Andrew Wyeth.
Day 11: Get cooking.
Ooh lala! Fabled French haute couture label Schiaparelli has headed state-side. Swing by Bergdorf Goodman (58th and 5th) and check out their pop-up boutique featuring this years Fall/ Winter Collection, “Story #1”, a prêt-à-couture line dedicated to Elsa’s creative relationship with Man Ray!
