Day 7: Art on the run.
A mere 90 minute drive from the Big Apple, Storm King Art Center makes for the perfect day trip. This 500 acres outdoor museum allows viewers to take in incredible large-scale sculptures and site specific commissions under the open sky. Not your average subway stop! Take a trip to the 59th Street- Columbus Circle stop and check out “Whirls and Twirls" (MTA),” Sol LeWitt’s giant tiled wall of jewel-toned loops and curves.
