Barcelona, Madrid, but also islands like Tenerife and Ibiza make Spain a great place to travel to during spring break.
You can visit the Museo Picasso Malaga that exhibits a variety of Pablo Picasso's work in chronological order. Or, if you're feeling more adventurous, visit the Museo Atlántico Lanzarote (Lanzarote Atlantic Museum). Europe´s only underwater sculpture museum. Put on your diving gear and swim (with professionals) around the impressive sculptures of Jason deCaires Taylor.

Less sunny, but just as beautiful and lively. The boot-shaped country might not be the first destination that comes to mind when thinking of spring break, but it is definitely worth visiting. Make sure to stop by Venice to enjoy a relaxing cruise around the city and maybe visit Peggy Guggenheim Collection. Also, take some time to visit Lido, the small island in Venice, a very popular place among those who want to escape the chaos and the crowds of the city, and enjoy a great book (such as Unstill Life by Gabrielle Selz*).

Dubai has been one of the most visited city in the past decade.
Between two shopping sprees, you can visit ART DUBAI from march 21 to march 24th.
Art Dubai is extraordinarily diverse. The 2018 fair will feature 78 galleries from 42 countries, from the world’s most influential galleries to dynamic young art spaces. Likewise, the artists range from emerging and upcoming practitioners from lesser-known art capitals to household names. The works they will present cover all artistic media—including painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, video, photography and performance.
If you can, make the (short) trip to Abu Dhabi and take some time to visit the Louvre Abu Dhabi as well.
If you live in New York City, don't get a chance to travel and still want to get a taste of exoticism, visit Georgia O'Keeffe: Visions of Hawai‘i exhibition at the New York Botanical Garden. This exhibition will offer a rare focus on 20 of O’Keeffe’s depictions of Hawai‘i from a nine-week sojourn in 1939. Feel the Hawaiian exoticism through O'Keeffe's paintings. Also visit the Josef Albers in Mexico exhibition at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.
